the specialized demo 8 has assymetrical chainstays and so it needs a zero dish rear wheel.

the deemax ultimate rear wheel needs dishing so that the spokes are equal length in both drive and non-drive side, in order to sit centered to the frame.

will there be a problem in the wheel strength and durability doing that?

thank you!

What year Demo 8? They changed the design in 2011. I assume you mean 2011 as that doesn't need an offset dish anymore. So the wheel will fit. I'm not sure I understand your question because I can't imagine Mavic would sell it knowing there is a strength issue. Their old Deemax were amazingly strong.
