I am considering buying one , my concern is the lines that run under the bottom tube , has any one had any issues with them , or is there something that can be done to better protect them , they look like they would be prone to damage
I've never had cables damaged when they run underneath the downtube. If something strikes hard enough to damage your cables, it will most likely also damage your frame. Don't worry about it.
I just bought the Scale 29 Team 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I've ridden it twice and love it, much more then my Trek 26 full suspension. The components are solid and the ride is much better then a 26. I'm not sure that I'll ever go back to the 26 unless I'm going someplace that has lots of rocks.
Buy it. You won't regret it.
