Hey all, visiting La Canada this weekend, and looking for some good single track. I know a lot of the good stuff is closed, but was wondering what is open and worth riding. I don't have much experience riding in the area, but I was ooking at:
Inspiration point trail http://trails.mtbr.com/cat/united-states-trails/california-trails/california-la-area/trail/PRD_165449_4520crx.aspx

or maybe marshall canyon trail:

I know that's a little further East though (but not too far). Also, we will be driving out to Rancho Cucamonga, so any trails along 210 between La Canada and Rancho?

I know there are a ton, just not sure where to head, looking for 1-2 hour rides.

Thanks in advance.

Try the Chantry Flats area. It's close to La Canada. This loop features sections of smooth ST, some rock garden areas, some moderate technical stuff, some creek crossings and little bit of hike-a-bike on the climb up the Mt. Zion portion. It's laid out in our beautiful Angeles Nat'l forest.

Make sure to go EARLY if you go on weekends, it gets VERY crowded up there. Weekdays are usually no problem with much less people around.

Here's a link to a great loop:

You can also find other stuff to ride using this trail guide site. Santa Monica mtns are another option, have fun!
