I'm currently 1x10, with X0 setup on my Spearfish, and trigger shifters. I'm contemplating going to grip shift. At the same time, I want to future proof a bit, in case I later decide to go XX1. So here's the question:

Will XX1 gripshifters work with an X0 rear derailleur? Is the cable pull activation the same? I know the XX1 will have more gear detents than I need, but otherwise, will it work?
