    XX1 Crank arm protection

I really like my new XX1 setup, however, when the terrain gets rocky
I tend to take some hits on the end of the crank arms (see attached picture). This has normally not been a problem since I haven't been riding carbonfibre cranks until now. Does anybody know of any aftermarket products that could fit as a protective "skidplate" on the ends? -I'm thinking along the lines of custom metal caps of some sort..XX1 Crank arm protection-xx1_crankarm_damage.jpg

These fit perfect, but there is a caveat ...the pedals must not have a close fitting flange like the Spank Spikes. Unfortunately I love the Spikes, but I had to find an alternative, like the Blackspires that have a longer mounting shaft.
