xx 2x10 cranks wont press all the way down?

    Hello,
Anyone know if this looks right? the dust seal/cover seems to be a few mm from the bearing and it looks like my chain line is off about the same amount. I have already torqued the bolt on the non drive side to spec and there is no play back and fourth. It just seems like it needs to go over to the non DS some more.

    See the pic..

    Thanks!

GXP type cranks don't bottom out on the drive-side bearing. there will be a gap between the crankarm and the bottom bracket, it's perfectly normal!

Thanks for the reply! Check out this crazy chain line. I cannot run big big without it wanting to drop to the small chainring,.

    thoughts?

The solution was that the BB needed a spacer on the NDS. All of the GXP cranks with the GXP BB do not preload on the drive side therefor all chainline and qfactor adjustments are made via spacers on the non drive side.... just incase someone else has this issue.. I spaced it 2.5mm on the NDS and all is good...
