Here's an article about the new XO,X-9 and X-7 rings coming out, I talked to SRAM support and was told that it should be the same chainring bolt pattern as your XX, but the are not available yet , there will have the following combos available 22/36 and 24/38 http://www.bikerumor.com/2011/04/20...itional-2x10-gearing-ranges-derailleur-sizes/
The smallest inner ring that fits on an XX bolt pattern is a 26t, the 22 and 24 tooth inner rings will be for a spider that uses a 64/104 bolt pattern.
no, xx crankarms have an integrated carbon spider, it can not be removed.
if you must have xx crankarms and smaller than 26/39 rings you can go with aftermarket rings. some manufacturers make 25/38...CarbonTi springs to mind.
