I picked up a rear SRAM Rise 40 wheel for more points of engagement (poe) in the freehub. Searching the web there were numerous places that stated the Rise 40 used the same freehub as the Rise 60 just steel vs alloy and that the Rise 40 also had 54 points of engagement like the Rise 60.
Somewhere along the line the design changed and the current Rise 40 only has 15 points of engagement. As I do some trials riding I purchased the wheel specifically for what I though was 54 poe. I gave SRAM a call today and searched their tech documents but can't figure out what kind of freehub body the Rise 40 uses or even if it's removable.
Has anyone removed the freehub body off a Rise 40 wheel or know if it's actually replaceable?
Thanks for the help!
