Slow Shifting XX and Q ring

I recently upgraded to XX shifters and deraileurs. For some reason it seems to shift a little slow. If I get the up shifts good then the down shifts are slow and vice versa. I am also running Qrings. I never really rode the bike with the round rings. I am wondering if the qrings are causing this or if it's just shifting performance.

I do not experience the slow up and/or downshifts you describe and I am also running full XX. I am also running normal, round rings. It would be interesting if you could slap some round rings on and see what happens.

I was hoping to avoid having to take the crank apart but maybe I'll just do that to see.
