    Shimano M970 and/or M985 XTR cranks with XX1

    Hi all,

I am really wanting to go 1x11 on my Turner 5 spot, but LOVE my XTR cranks and want to keep them. Will M970 and/or M985 cranks (with Wolftooth ring) work with XX1 group? I have been reading some knocking issues and want to make sure before I make the move. I can't think of any issue, but want to hear from anybody that has used this setup.

    Thanks!!!

I am running Shimano XTR 980 cranks w/ a Chris King bb, XO1 chainring, der, cassette, shifter and an X01 chain.

It runs perfect, I did however have to move the bottom bracket spacers around to get the chain line right.

Thanks for the reply. Did you move the spacers to the non-drive side to get the correct chain line?
