    Shimano Brakes with Grip shift

I want to try the new XT or Zee barkes from shimano as they are getting great reviews. The problem is that I sized up the XT brakes with my XX1 grip shift and the shorty levers on the XTs were to short with the bulbous grip shifter interface. I assume the Zee levers are the same lenght?

Anyone find a solution? longer aftermarket lever, or a way to use the grip shift lockring to mount brakes??,

Fwiw, I'm running the same setup - xx1 gripshift with xt brakes. I have relatively small hands and don't have an issue reaching the brake levers. I do use single finger braking, and I am using a much shorter stationary grip than what SRAM includes in the kit. Without those changes, I can't see the combo working, but with them I find it's pretty much perfect...
