    Rockshox Warranty Help

I've bought a 2012 Trek Cobia in November 2011 for my wife. It has been ridden no more than 6 times and total mileage is between 20 to 40kms. What I noticed is the coating on the fork stanchions is flaking off and I brought it to the my country's distributor (They are distributor for both Trek & Rockshox) for a warranty claim.

They dismissed any responsibility for a warranty. They insinuated that I had parked outdoors which was not true as I live in a apartment where I share with 3 bikes. None of the other bikes have such problems. Then they took a few days and told me that the flaking is part of "wear & tear" and cannot be replaced. I find this reasoning absolute rubbish. I've owned several Rockshox this lifetime and have never had the same problem, let along an almost unused unit.

I have written to SRAM via their website contact form but till date, no reply. Does anybody know how I can get someone to look into my problem and honour a warranty?

    Go to a different dealer.

Any dealer should be able to handle a warranty claim, especially with SRAM/RS.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

In my country there is only one RS distributor and they were the ones who had rejected the claim (Unfairly IMO). Does anyone have a direct email to SRAM that I can send an enquiry to?
