Old Rock Shox Sid rear suspension

I have an old Trek Fuel 100 (around 2003) with a Rock Shox Sid shock on the rear. It seems to have blown a seal.

Is there anyone that can rebuild this? I would also consider purchasing a new modern on if it will fit this frame design?

    Thank you in advance

I cannot answer the initial question, but for the second, I ditched the oe Rock Shox shock and went with an RP23 when I had my 2004 Fuel 70. It was awesome. I can't remember the size, but it was pretty common fitment.
