Cranksets: aka vs. x7 vs. x9

So I've read that the arms are virtually the same on all 3 cranksets. I'm going spiderless, so the ring differences make no difference. What else might be different between the 3? Also, are the bb the same on all 3, or would you get a better bb depending?

The new X7 is not the same, the older 2011 was (S1400) - but the 2012 X7 does not have a removable spider.

I think the difference between the AKA and X9 is in the rings, so if you're going spiderless, just get the AKA. I think the most cost effective way to do so would be to get the AKA 1.1g.

I highly doubt there is any difference in the BBs.

Yeah, I ended up going with the Akas as well. I have my MRP ring. Just waiting for the cranks to arrive. I think the Aka looks better than the X9 on top of being cheaper.
