According to the SRAM Spare Parts Catalog there are conversion parts for the hubs.
    Here's the link.
    See page 54.

Talked to a guy at SRAM on Thursday. Honestly, he sounded like he wasn't totally sure, but he didn't think it could be converted.

Universal Cycles -- Sram X9 Axle Kits

I just ordered the 12mm to QR kit from there. It looks like they have other kits too, but they are on back order.

It should be......IF you can find the parts. I knocked mine out today to see what's up with the internals. It's a different system, that's for sure. But the hole is big enough for up to 20mm thru axles for sure. Finding the parts is a whole other beast though. Maybe your LBS can find them. I'm gonna inquire with Universal tomorrow when I go down there.

Universal didn't have a 9 to 15T/A listed on their website. I'm hoping someone else may chime in here.

Ok guys there is two ways to convert 15mm thu axle to 9mm qr.

1 replace the through axle endcaps that are 15mm with 9mm qr endcaps.

2 leave the 15mm on the hub and use the mavic plug in converters.

I have tried to find the correct endcaps but still dont know where to find them. Sram has dropped the ball on accessories for that.

I ended up using the #2 option.

Sram what endcap part number is it ??????????
