Yeti ASX 1.125 vs Specialized Enduro Expert

Guys I like the Specialized stuff, but am concerned about rear shock issues. I ride in Northern AZ - Prescott Area and Sedona (trails there usually too infested with beginners and frightened hikers). How do these bikes compare in suspension, handling weight, trail riding , single track, downhill, climbing, etc....... I think back to John Tomac on the proto C26 bike that began a new company! Trails I ride: rocky, technical downhill, some trails and XC stuff, some easy dirt roads. I like throwing the bike around off drops, jumps, etc.... I am 6'0" and 194lbs, any opinions appreciated.
