are the XC lock on grips any good?

Need some new grips for the stumpy. The white ones would look pretty nice the bike. But how do they feel? any takers?

There is just nothing better than the Oury's, I prefer the lock-ons.

    Anyone tried spesh lock-on grips?

    there's a thread on specialized lock-ons

I have the rocca lock ons, which are a bit thicker than the XC's. I personally love them, they have awesome grip and feel natural. And in white they look killer. I'd say go for it.

Several times I've come close to buying a pair of the XC grips. But I've always gone for the Roccas for the extra thickness. FWIW, I'm pretty happy with them. I've put them on three of my bikes now.

Anyone have issues with either the XC or Roccas yet, because of only one lock ring? I shyed away from them because of that reason. I've had the ODI Rogues for a while and they are so comfortable, however, although the grips never move or anything on the bar, there is still a bit of play (float) from the lock ring to the grip itself when you twist. That drives me nuts! I ordered a pair from NC-17, just because I wanted it white and they are good so far. Here's a pix (as well as some bike porn).
