I know BETD makes a few links for the Specialized line, among others, but would you buy an aftermarket link for your new(er) Speci FS if....
It came in your choice of anodized colors
Weighed the same or less as the stock link without sacrificing rigidity (made out of billet aluminum)
Had the option to have your name or team/club name on it; or your phone number on the underside of the link as an aid in recovering a stolen bike
And came with sealed bearings from the same factory that supplies Honda's motocross bikes.
Obviously the likes of the Enduro would have the travel adjustment holes, but for models that are straight forward like the Epic, Stumpjumper, etc. would the above options be appealing to consumers?
Oh, the manufacturer would be a long-time American motorcycle and race car CNC builder and the price would be at least 30% less than the competition and include 3 day priority mail shipping.
