    Why is the Troy Lee frame different from the others?

    If you look at the pics below you can see the thickness of the head tube junction is different between the Troy Lee frame and the others...

    Why is that?

    Here is a link to the Specialized page with the frames....
    Wouldn't the other two frames be stiffer/stronger? Did they use old frames on the Troy Lee Designs special edition? What's the deal??



    You can really tell by the through the frame hole here....what gives?

    Why is the Troy Lee frame different from the others?

    I think I figured it out. They have the Troy lee 26 and 29er pics reversed. Go look at the 26 version and it looks just like the rest of the 29ers and the 29 looks like the 26 version.
