My 2012 Stump Jumper Comp 29 HT PICK UP ON 07-26-2013
Well it was time for an upgrade this 1999 Rock Hopper gave me year's of fun but is a bit to heavy on the trail for me.
So on July 26 th I went to my LBS and picked up a 2012 Stump Jumper Comp 29 HT couldn't pass up at $1430.30 out the door.
First thing I did was install a set of Shimano M520 SPD Pedal's.
Then I went tubeless/SNT Tape/ valve's and sealant.
Installed two Elite Water Bottle Holder's with Polar Bear Water bottle's (24 oz. ea.)
Installed a under the seat tool bag for tool's and inner tube just in case.
Installed a Spin Doctor mini tire pump.
Changed the Front S-Work's Renegade 29" x 1.95 to a Captain Control 29" x 2.2 so now it's set up with the Captain Front and the Renegade Control 29" x 1.95 rear.
Next I installed a Set of ESI Chunky Red grip's.
Just got done installing a Specialized 27.2 x 350 mm Carbon Seat Post.
Looking at either Easton Carbon Bar's or Thompson flat around 780 mm leaning toward's the Thompson's in two week's.
I'm waiting until next month to order my Industry Nine Torch Hub's /Either L.B Carbon Hoop's or Roval carbon waiting on price of Roval hoop's/ and still need to figure out which DT Comp Spoke's I need.
It sit's at 21.5 pound's right now was 25 when I brought it home looking to get below 21 pound's.
I've lost weight since buying and riding it from 210 to 184 as of now.
I've got around $1,650 invested in the bike now so once I get my rim's and bar's I should be around $1,900 not bad for a modified SJ Comp 29 HT.
