I will after I am able to utilize everything this bike has to offer,
but that is unfortunatly going to take a while till I can do that.

Unless you give me the necessary funds, of course.

The latest i have done is leaving my rear wheel to my LBS for replacement of the HiLo 142+ Hub (Joytech) warranty, bad noise.

Now when i got my wheel back, i notice that they have installed a Sram X9 135mm hub

Now i have to return it so they can upgrade it to 142mm.

    Bummer, thank god its winter.

Updated cockpit to Renthal bar and stem.
Upgraded fork with RC2 DH cartridges.
    Installed SLX 170mm cranks.
    Installed Monarch Plus.

Next in "to do" list are wheels. Already have DT Swiss 350 hubs, need to decide rims.

    Cheers

    2010 spec stumpy

I installed some Shimano XT brakes. Ice tech rotors. Upgraded from Avid CRs (which sucked).

Ran some new lines. Gold Jagwire braided cable with Teflon coated shifting cables inside

Finally a full pic of the bike...

Winter maintenance is just about done. Starting from the bottom:
    - New tires front & back, Butcher SX
    - Rebuilt the rear Hi Lo hub with new ceramic sealed cartridge bearings
    - New bottom bracket
    - New chain and shiny red chain ring bolts
    - Replaced the Elixir R brakes with a set of '12 Code R's and 200mm HS1 rotors front and back
    - Replaced the Domain RC with a '11 66 RC3 EVO
    - Replaced the X5 shifters with a pair of X9's with matchmaker clamps
    - Added a Reverb seat post
    - Finally got the suspension set with a rear 600lbs spring and the 66 got a heavy spring (I'm running minimal air pressure), new oil seals and fresh oil.
    - New seat post clamp

Last thing to do is shorten up the Reverb hose and rebleed the brakes once my new pads show up in the mail.

Nokian Gazza Extreme 294 Studded Tires. Broke them in on a road ride then into the woods. Conditions were too soft and slushy for the most part, but on the ice, they held really well.

Just bought a 13 SJ FSR Comp Evo. New grips, Answer Bars, Pedals. Anyone have an opinion on the Roval Traverse wheelset that comes stock with this bike? I was thinking about a new wheel set. Crank Bros has a special going on their Iodine 3 wheelsets ($600), have they fixed the hub issues they were having with these?

    Bought another one!

Wife and I now have matching Elite 29ers. I had originally set mine up to be more of a do-all woods and path bike but I'm going to move it closer to its mountain roots. Managed to locate a pair of remote lockout kits for their Recon forks but down the road I'm thinking about upgrading the entire suspension. What says everyone about the Reba RL and the Monarch XX shock?

Probably going to fit some sort of dropper seatposts and when we wear out the brakes and cranks I'll look into changing those out too.

X-Fusion Slide 29 RL2R on my 2011 Epic Expert. No more Brain (or QRs) for me! I see where Brain forks could work, but that's just not where I ride and race. This thing feels better than my last Fox at half the price. It's shown at 120 mm, which is cool for winter fun riding. I haven't decided if I'll drop it down to 100 mm for race season yet. Been on it about two months now; it makes the bike feel so much smoother.

While I haven't ridden with them past the parking lot "bed in" process... The power is insane and they keep Avid's great modulation. Just what I wanted... A lot of other companies brakes with this power have the "on/off" feel (aka shimano saints.) Almost went with Hopes, but couldn't justify the extra cost.

I threw on a Salsa seat clamp and some 685mm low rise Easton monkey bars on the stumpjumper fsr comp 29'er.
I can't wait to trail test it without those beach cruiser style bars. I'm also hoping that the new clamp helps stop the post from creeping down.

On my Stumpy I just swapped my Trail King 2.2s for a Hans Dampf 2.35/nobby nic 2.25. It dropped 200g off my bike, but I did the swap just to see which tires I like better.

Swap the damper out of the recon and you should be happy. I did my recon with a rockshox argyle motion control damper with low speed compression adjust

What's The Latest Thing You've Done To Your Specialized Bike?

Was time for a clean after 2 rounds of racing in flow rollercoaster and stack of dirty rides in between. Plus changed my front 2.2 purgatory to a 2.3 ground control and put the 2.2 on the back instead of the 2.0 captain. Tubeless with these is so clean and easy on my rims.

A couple of weeks ago I replaced the std 680mm alloy bars with 720mm answer protaper carbon. Steering is much more solid for me now and it does feel smoother with less vibration on very rocky trails where I felt a lot of feedback previously.

Also changed my stem, og was 90mm but felt a bit long, so I did a few rides and a race with a 50mm hussfelt one I had on my old giant. I did really like the feel but just was a little too tight so I ordered a 70mm answer AM stem and after the first few rides its feeling pretty darn sweet.

    I think it's on a winner.

What's The Latest Thing You've Done To Your Specialized Bike?

Installed my new (second hand - thanks to SideFX) command post. Went and picked up some new cable, housing and ferrules etc plus a command post seat clamp with cable guide. Took a bit of time to get it all spot on but overall not too difficult a task. Looking forward to a wet test ride tomorrow.

Not the bars, stem or wheels I'll be using, just parts off another bike.

I've got Transition Revolution 25 wheels on the way, and soon some wide flat bars, and when I decide what I want, some brakes too.

Sitting spare in the garage I have a 70mm stem, old 3x9 x9 + XT cranks drive chain, and a few other bits.

Trying to build a decent trail bike without breaking the bank!

been a while since ive posted my upgrades...
in december i had new wheels build for my '12 enduro comp.
red chris king hubs, aerolite spokes, red alu nipples, wtb i23 hoops.

today i had a new red ano Hawk bottom bracket installed, new red cables/housings,
formula the one brakes the were "take-offs" that have red ano accents, and alligator serration rotors. although there is some low speed vibration coming from the front, might have to pony up for another ice tech.

Added a new back wheel to match the front, and switched over to Nobby Nic's, and finally have both tires running tubeless.

Stan's NoTubes ZTR FlowEX w/ a Hope Pro EVO 2 hub.

I had trouble getting my old Mountain King 2.2's to seal properly, so I was running with a tube on my front rim since I replaced my fork back in November. The new tires have seated beautifully, and my bathroom scale says the weight of my bike is down to 25.2 (I should go to a bike shop and get it weighed).

    Next up is the drivetrain!

Reworked my Judy T2 ('98 Ground Control FSR Comp) by throwing in a freshly serviced Judy XC aluminum cartridge and Risse Racing coil springs. No more pogo stick, and it should get me through the season. I plan to upgrade the fork and rear shock for next year and get into some newer technology.

Command post rocks ! I switched the remote for the KS remote, the original one gets crappy after a while. The KS is better, Spech could have done better on the remote......

Realized from my last crash.... I broke (finally) a pair of Crank Bros Candy 2

on the right, the wing: got push out and wedged into the aluminum cage.

the owner of the LBS loathes Crank Bros, so I picked up 2 pairs of SHimano PD-M520's (one for the MTB & one for the cross bike)

ALso broken was the seat post. SO I picked up a Origin-8 Pro Fit Alloy post. Needs a new saddle also (gonna get another Romin saddle... as the road bike has one)

Installed a new frame. Well the LBS installed a new frame...
The replacement frame finally made it through Customs

    After

It's a 2013 frame. I would like to powdercoat or replace the front fork so it matches, but that won't happen for a while.

My 2012 Stump Jumper Comp 29 HT PICK UP ON 07-26-2013

Well it was time for an upgrade this 1999 Rock Hopper gave me year's of fun but is a bit to heavy on the trail for me.
    <a href="http://s668.photobucket.com/user/PauLCa916/media/null_zps6b56ebc9.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv50/PauLCa916/null_zps6b56ebc9.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo null_zps6b56ebc9.jpg"/></a> <br>
So on July 26 th I went to my LBS and picked up a 2012 Stump Jumper Comp 29 HT couldn't pass up at $1430.30 out the door.

First thing I did was install a set of Shimano M520 SPD Pedal's.
    Then I went tubeless/SNT Tape/ valve's and sealant.
Installed two Elite Water Bottle Holder's with Polar Bear Water bottle's (24 oz. ea.)
Installed a under the seat tool bag for tool's and inner tube just in case.
Installed a Spin Doctor mini tire pump.
Changed the Front S-Work's Renegade 29" x 1.95 to a Captain Control 29" x 2.2 so now it's set up with the Captain Front and the Renegade Control 29" x 1.95 rear.
Next I installed a Set of ESI Chunky Red grip's.
Just got done installing a Specialized 27.2 x 350 mm Carbon Seat Post.
Looking at either Easton Carbon Bar's or Thompson flat around 780 mm leaning toward's the Thompson's in two week's.
I'm waiting until next month to order my Industry Nine Torch Hub's /Either L.B Carbon Hoop's or Roval carbon waiting on price of Roval hoop's/ and still need to figure out which DT Comp Spoke's I need.
It sit's at 21.5 pound's right now was 25 when I brought it home looking to get below 21 pound's.
I've lost weight since buying and riding it from 210 to 184 as of now.
I've got around $1,650 invested in the bike now so once I get my rim's and bar's I should be around $1,900 not bad for a modified SJ Comp 29 HT.
