What year is this Stumpjumper FSR comp???

Ok, a bit of a puzzle...

Shop said the serial no. PM8C6018 on the bottom bracket didn't get them the year of the bike. I am trying to replace the cracked chainstay link. This is a clue, 'cause the other FSR we have, ("pro" model) cracked in the same place. On the drive side, right behind the main bearing, aft of the BB. The bike is metallic blue with white lettering, and black and red accents. The rear linkage is another clue, the vintage where the shock and seatstay link meet at the same point with a small silver link with the specialized S forged in it. Seatstay says "fully active 4-bar linkage" I believe it came stock with a Fox Vanilla Float, no adjustment. I have it narrowed down to between 1999-2001. Any guesses?

    Many Thanks,

    KM
