None the shops around me have any in stock for me to get an idea of what size SX I am going to want. My S-works Stumpy FSR Carbon is a Medium, along with my old Epic. So I am assuming that a Medium SX would do me fine. My question is, would I benefit having a small rather than a medium? For getting off the back of the saddle, jumps, and bombing downhill runs...things like that. I'm 5'9" and my stumpy fits me perfectly. I know I want the smallest thing I can fit on comfortably, but I don't want to feel cramped.
I'm just over 5'10" and also have the medium which fits perfectly. I'd read that the small comes up very small, so I would have thought a medium would suit you too. It also has a very short (40mm) stem so the small would be pretty cramped unless you have short arms?
im 5 foot 8 and i have a medium, i wouldnt wat a small, although the bike is very long the frame is not so i think a small would be too small on me, a medium will be perfect for you
I am 5'9" and have a small. I ended up throwing a longer stem on it and it works just fine for me. I also got a really good deal on the bike otherwise I probably would have went with a medium.
Better hurry on the frame only options my budy just got his and there was less than a dozen left for the whole year across the world. Complete sxtrails may be another story.
