The Enduro line of bikes can take quite a bit of abuse, especially the SX Trail. I've got a 2005 Expert and just got done with a full day of shuttling some private DH trails that are much more extreme than any of the resorts. Lots of abuse just from today alone. This bike has taken 25 foot doubles, 10 foot drops, rock gardens, etc, etc. The SX Trail is simply built even stronger. I've seen them take drops of around 20 feet to tough landings. Some of the top pros who ride Specialized say that it's the best bike they've ever been on and use for stunts that they used to only ride with a full DH bike. In other words - unless you are a super-crazy thrasher, you'll be fine on an SX Trail.
