Is the warrantee only for the original owner?

Or is transferrable to anyone who ever owns the bike?

Also, will all specialized dealers handle the warrantee repair, or will they be difficult if you didn't buy the bike from them?

    Yes, yes, and perhaps.

Yes, the warranty is only valid to the original owner.

Yes, any dealer will handle warranty work. THat is part of the dealer agreement.

Dealers do not get paid by S for warranty work. Some ask for a small deposit on the strip down, or to cover some of the build costs. Most will ask for a small amount, depending on how involved it is.

If you buy the bike from the dealer you are taking the warranty work to, there is usually no (or little) cost involved.

How do you prove that you are the original owner?

Can't I just give the receipt to whoever I sell my bike to. (if I paid cash for the bike)
