Hope is there a 'book value' on used specialized?

Hey all, first post hope this is the right forum. If not please feel free to move.

Looking at some used bikes on CL but I really have no idea the book value of these. I'm between a 2011 Stumpy Expert Evo 2011 Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Evo Medium
and a 2009 Enduro, Specialized Enduro Comp 09

both were pretty well maintained minimal scratches etc. Any other things to look out for? I'm totally new to this sport and only ridden Walmart bikes

    Thanks in advance!

Saw this awhile back. I guess it's fairly accurate.

My general rule is half of new retail and maybe a 1/4 of retail on upgrades. Depends on what it is. +1 for the stumpy. It's a great bike. Also budget tires, brakes, drive train replacements, and a possible tune up.

Half of new msrp and then + or - depending upon condition. Check fleabay and see what the market says. Keep in mind you can better deals on craigslist or other local sales becuase the fees and what not are not in play.

Most people on EBay are asking WAAAAYYYY too much for their bikes.

They're asking 80% of new values usually, that's why they never sell.

Thanks guys! I ended up paying $1k for the Enduro because the stumpy was a bit over my budget. Guy upgraded the brakes so they're almost brand new. Can't wait to start riding
