i've got an sx trail frame coming my way this week and i wanted to get a 'heads up' on spring rate. i'm around 235lbs and prefer my ride setup on the firmer side.
So what spring rate are you guys runnin'
You'll probably need a 450 lbs spring. I weigh almost a hundred pounds less than you and I'm running a 350 right now, but it's too stiff for me so I'm getting a 300.

thanks for the link...i hope 500lb is the magic number because i have the stock spring off my demo 8 laying around somewhere.
