SWorks Seatpost Issues
My SWorks seatpost keeps failing to keep my seat positioned level. It keeps dipping in the back (nose up). I have torqued it to 127 inch lbs, like it says and it still tilts back. Any suggestions? Is it fixable? Would friction paste solve it? Or time time for a better post?

S-Works Carbon? If it is the one that has the external cups just pull the them off and and it has an internal metal sleeve. Grease the sleve of the head and the bolt. Hope I explained that in a way that makes sense. Also just greasing the bolt will help.

Tanks CHSAD. I greased the cups, but not the bolt. Just greasing the cups didnt help I used my torque wrench and had to torque it too 200inch lbs.to keep it from sagging, which is not good. I'll try greasing the bolt.

I had a similar problem.
In my case the conical bushings in the seatpost had loosened.
I fixed them with a adhesive.
The black bushing, not the silver. I don`t have a better image.

Grease the bolt for a more accurate torque. I have not tried friction paste on the cups but I would if it torqued proberly and was still slipping.
