Swingarm Bushings - Lube or Dry?

    x-posted in shocks forum

I'm rebuilding the swingarm pivots on my wife's '99 S-Works FSR...should the bushings be installed dry or lubed? If lube is advised, is there a specific type that doesn't swell or prematurely break down the bushing material?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.

I always kept mine dry, same for shock bushes. The FSR pivots are so easy to seperate, wiping them clean can be incorporated into basic maintenance. My 98 FSR frame cracked last year and the bushes were/are still in excellent condition.
