    Stumpy Paint Issue

Anyone have this problem. I have a 2007 Stumpjumper S works and the clear coat appears to be fading.

    Thanks,

It looks like that could be from your knees/kneepads rubbing against that part of the frame.

My beautfiul 08 stumpy is getting some of that. I need to wear pads though, so I'm considering getting some of that 3M film to lay over the top tube.

Do you sweat a LOT? I've seen the paint on alloy frames fade from sweat before.

The clear coat on my 07 tarmac pro was looking similar. My guess is that it is from washing and cleaning, and there are micro scratches that have dulled the coat. A buddy of mine used Meguiar's to buff it out and make it look immaculate again.
