New question here. Stumpy FSR 120, Triad playing up- replacements?

Hi all I recently built up a Stumpy FSR 120, nothing flash, a budget built (aka tora fork and x7). The hassle is the Triad shock.

I have had it serviced & got all the seals done. But the toggle switch (blue) does nothing, and I'm getting about 50% sag with 260-270 psi in there (I'm a big boy 120kg).

I'm thinkg of a replacment, I'd be grateful for the shock specs if anyone has them, and if anyone has done it, possibler replacment options.

I have been considering the new DT shock, or maybe a Rockshox.

What year is the Stumpy frame? The specs are different on 08-09 vs. 07 vs. 06. I am about to replace my 07 triad with an RP23 as soon as I can find one with the right settings.

    I'm pretty sure that's a 2005 frame. I have the same bike.

Yep, thats an 05 Stumpy Expert I believe. Here are the specs which say that bike has a 7.5x1.75 Fox Septune.

It's a very non-standard size. And unfortunately, the frame design requires that the i2i and stroke remain exactly the same. You could send your Septune to Push and have it fixed...

Search this forum for Stumpjumper RP23. You'll find lots of threads regarding this.
    I have an RP23 (7.5x2 modeded to 1.75) on my '06 stumpjumper.

If an RP23 in 7.5 x 2.0" fit, I would go that route. I think the shock will fit but I can't say for sure.

It should fit, but you have to add a spacer to limit the travel to 1.75", otherwise the shock link will crash into the seat tube.
