Here's the deal : I want to replace my current back-up hardtail (a RM Blizzard) with a new frame and I have two options (considering $$$ and availability) :
1) A brand new 2005 Stumpjumper S-Works HT frame with post
2) A new 2007 Caffeine frame with a Fatty Ultra fork
Both are the same price, so I need opinions from people who have ridden both bikes (or at least an F-Series bike for the Cannondale) to help me choose one or the other. Since it is a second bike, I mainly use it in winter (snow trails/road) and for occasional riding (technical trails here). I'm a big Specialized fan, but the Stumpy is a bit too « classic-looking » for my taste. I like very much the Caffeine for the looks and lightness, but I've heard it's a rough ride... Please tell me what you think.
