Stumpjumper FSR Pro Carbon *OR* FSR Pro M5 Aluminum

I'm trying to decide if the Carbon frame is worth the extra money? Does anyone have experience or comments on one vs. the other?

    Thanks......

I went through the same issue 3 weeks ago. I tested drove both. The Pro Carbon just felt better. I went with the Pro Carbon. Do a search I've posted this same question.

If you have the $$, go carbon, stiffer, and a much better ride feel in my opinion.

I have ridden both. I bought the expert but after buying I had the chance to ride the s-works carbon. If I had the money, I would've have gotten the carbon. But.....I still love my expert. In the end it comes down to the rider.

I can only imagine that the carbon has the better ride. I have heard that from a couple of riders that test rode the Stumpy FSR and the Enduro SL. I am still a bit too heavy (mid 230 range) to be comfortable with carbon for now, so I went with the M5 aluminum.
