I am on a tight budget, but have been saving for a Stumpjumper. I was planning to get the Expert as that is the cheapest model with flow control brain. However, i am debating whether to break the piggy bank and go for the pro carbon. i ride florida single track twice a week and sometimes do some elevation at some places farther north. Thanks in advance for any related experiences or advice that you can provide. all related advice or alternatives will be helpful.
Was in a similar situation looking at the SJ Pro. Read the all the comments in the Pro CF thread (Pro & Con) and decided to go for the SJ Pro CF with the Spec shock & fork (broke the piggy bank).
Absolutely NO regrets. Love the ride and the forks.
Took a bit to get the shock and forks dialled in but now I have one sweet ride....... And my forks are fine......
