Stumpjumper dent in downtube.
I spun out on a steep rocky climb. End result was a penny size not very deep indentation on the downtube on the drivetrain side of my 07 SJ. I didn't notice it until I got home and washed down my bike. It is right above the upper cable guide.
My question is what should I do? Try to warranty? Ride it?
Thanks for any input.
They won't warranty abuse. Just ride it.
locate the turn stop rubbers to hit on the upper tube right at the top crease on the tube------this means that the stops are slid almost all the way to the top of the upper clamp,
do not have the stops hitting on the lower tube at all , -----they will dent every time .
i see that almost every body on here has them in the wrong place and the will dent
i am an idiot, and i thought i was replying about an enduro with a full duel crown fork .
so never mind on my upper reply , ----i am not awake yet
