    Stem for Epic

    Hi,

I'm looking to try a shorter stem on my Epic. According to S's website, my headset specs are:

    HEADSET
1-1/8" and 1-1/2" Threadless, Campy style upper with 1.5" lower, cartridge bearings

Does this mean my stem should be 1-1/8" or 1.5"? I'm confused as to why both widths are indicated. Can anyone who understands this please help?

    Thanks

Those sizes indicate the upper and lower bearings on your headset with the upper being 1 1/8" and the lower being 1 1/2". The stem's clamp diameter is 1 1/8".
