SS stumpjumper frame with gears?

Considering one as my sole bike. Just curious if I'll have the option of a 1x10 setup down the road.

I'm assuming you are looking at the '13 model? Since it has sliders I don't thing a derailleur hanger can be attached.

I have a 2010 SS Stumpy with the EBB and it can be ran with gears, I haven't done it yet but I do have the hanger for it.

One thing to consider is on a SS there is no cable routing for gears. You will need to zip tie the cable to the frame or purchase some aftermaket stick on cable holders to keep it in place.
