    Specialized Frames on ebay?

I'm looking into buying a Stumpjumper FSR frame from ebay, i've noticed from the specialized website that these aren't sold seperatly.

Why do you see them regulary on ebay, why would someone buy a brand new stump fsr then strip it and sell the frame??

Are there specialized 'seconds' getting into the market?

Is it safe to buy one of these frames?

Could be any number of reasons, It should be fine, as long as you keep in mind that Specialized only warantees frames/bikes bought new from the dealer

check the feedback rating and ask for additional pics if necessary, I bought my Epic frame over a year ago on ebay and haven"t had any problems.

    Good luck,
