Anyone ridden both the single speed Carve and the One9 rigid? I'm torn between the two. My local Specialiazed dealer doesn't stock any Carves and would charge me a non-refundable deposit to have a Carve SL brought in.
I've ridden the One9 with the Niner carbon fork. Sweetness! 20 minutes on that steed and I knew a rigid SS was in my near future. The steering was telepathic and everything was so precise.
I generally like Specialized mountain bike design philosophy. And the price on a new Carve SL is reasonable. Just wish my LBS wasn't staffed by snobs that think tri-bikes are the be-all, end-all of the biking world.
