    Spec. Captain size Vs. Eskar

I just put an Eskar 2.3 2bliss up front and have a partially worn Captain 2.2 on back and it looks like the Captain is a little bigger (circumference wise). Both tires were inflated to 30lbs. Couldn't get size specifics on the Spec. site. Anyone compared / noticed these two tires sizes?

I doubt it. Eskar is a pretty high volume tire. I run them F/R and haven't run a Captain, but a bunch of guys I ride with have them and they don't appear appreciably larger. Maybe an optical illusion?

Bigger knobs on the Eskar making the volume look smaller? Only way to tell for sure is to bust out the calipers and measure.
