No good Son snapped his '99 M4 FSR

Well st, we were riding Cleburne State Park this weekend and a little more then half way through the ride the chain stay on the drivetrain side of my son's '99 M4 FSR XC snapped right at the foreward weld. The non-drivetrain side is also cracked. We just bought the bike for him in July of this year and he had really grown to love it. It is a really well built up bike with a lot of upgraded parts. He still had a ways to go before he out grew it too. Any chance anyone knows of a source for a replacement part? I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask.

Check in with a dealer - S may still have parts for it. Also worth asking about 'crash replacement' pricing on a new frame. Always worth a shot.

These pop up every now and then on Ebay. Search under "FSR chainstay".

FS Aluminum bikes has an expected fatigue life of 5 years. Consider the break disappointing, but over due.

Thanks for the leads, y'all. I'm going to go talk to the local S dealer today and see if they can help us out.
