    sj fsr evo 29 -> pike 140 or 150?

    Hi,

    Im riding the 2013 sj fsr evo 29 with a 140mm revelation.
    I would like to upgrade to a pike (46 offset) but cant decide If I should take a 140 or 150.

    Somebody tried a 150mm? If I dont have it wrong the a2c of the pike is 3mm higher. With the 10mm more travel it will be 13mm higher than now. What will it do with the bb height and relating handling?

    Thanks!

    150mm Is going to slightly raise the BB, slacken the HT angle, and give you a longer wheelbase (just barely). 13mm is not much though, and I think you will love it!

    I run a 160mm Pike on my 26" SJ Evo and I'm glad I got the 160mm version and not the 150. It just gives the bike a nice stable and aggressive feel on the downhill, and climbing isnt bad at all. I thought it might wonder easy, but I have had no problem.

    If you are considering a 150 Pike, you may as well buy the Dual Air and get 120-150. I have a Talas 110-140, and I run it at 110 90% of the time. I bet the EVO is really nice at 120 in tight switchbacks and during the climbs.
