    2009 Marathon 29er XL

with over 20,000 miles on it. Great Divide, Colorado Trail, month in Canada etc, lots of overnighters and it's my go to bike for just riding and is also my commuter...18 miles and 3000ft downhill to work. Frame, seatpost, stem, derailleurs, rear rotor and shifters are original, everything else has been destroyed or worn out. The rear derailleur has been ripped off twice but rebuilt both times and is on it's 6th set of pulley wheels. I just put a new T/A Reba on it after wearing the coating off the sliders on the original Fox. New X0 brakes after the originals gave up. I've gone through 5 saddles. I put a 185mm rotor on the front after a week...whose idea was it to put a 160 on the front of an XL 29er? I think about buying new bikes all the time but it's such a great bike. I have an Sworks Enduro sat in my garage that gets brought out once a year.

Here is my 15.5" '12 Stumpy Evo 29er HT. Only upgrades include a set of '13 Roval Control wheels slung up with a Renegade Control 1.95 on the back and a S-Works Fast Trak 2.0 on the front. I also replaced the Avid HS1 rotors with Alligator Serrations to shut up the brakes. Sits at 22 lbs and change.

Nice bike! I think I like the black & white of the new Rovals vs the red from earlier versions.

My 2011 S Works 26er, the last of the proper ones. This is UK spec, not sure if these colours are worldwide.

My wife had one of those colored s-works in 2011. Great bike! They were frame only on the US.

I love it.. Will be using it mostly for gravel grinders, added carbon wheels and will be changing the front rings to a 42x28 set.. 20lbs as it sits..

'13 Comp - Stock. Set up tubeless. 19" 24bs, 10 oz. with Eggbeaters, one CK cage, Garmin, and stickers... Chopped 1" off each side of bars (now 25"). Tubeless ready meant just added valves and sealant. The stock strips were fine. Wanted an EVO but saved $200 off and got a 2X10. Wasn't sure the Fox CTD was better than the Reba or worth the price difference. Glad they came out with the Maguras.

Good to see Specialized big into the 29r offerings. Will review when the relationship falls into a pattern.

Three rides in so far. Solid bike.

If it wasn't 34F, raining, and dark, I'd be riding.

'13 Comp carbon in medium. Stock minus a few things. Cranks are next on the list. I want to hate the bars because of the graphics, but they feel good (once I hacked 'em down). Great riding bike. I haven't bought a stock bike in a long time, usually do frame up builds. Pretty impressed with it. I think we are going to get along just fine.

My 2013 Stumpy Evo 29 HT

Just picked it up a little over a week ago and I love this thing!! Major upgrade over my 2007 Trek 3900. Here's a pic after I washed it after I got it nice and muddy So far the only thing I've done is removed the reflectors and installed Shimano half-platform half-SPD pedals.
