    Shock and Fork Maint.

Bought a 07 Epic Expert last year and rode it until Novemeber, put about 1500 miles on it of which only about 750 were trail miles. My question is should a overhaul the fork and shock? How often do you guys change your shock oil. Is it something I can do or should I have a dealer do it? It is down time in the Midwest right now so it is a good time to get it done.

the brain has to be done by specialized, due to the nitrogen charge and what not. i wouldn't mess with that. rebuild wise, id say you're still good on the fork. wait til the seals really start leaking, then rebuild with some enduro seals and new fluid, it will feel brand new. just make sure the shop you have it done at does it on a regular basis, or at least has done it a lot.
