roval wheelset with "dt swiss" rear hub internals (36pt ratchet)

asking Spesh or a dealer this is a waste of time, so i thought i'd ask the real pros...

anyone know if the new Stumpy with dt swiss rear hub (rebranded) will take the 36 star ratchet upgrade?

Already in there, or at least they were in the 2012 models of Roval wheels. I assume the 36T ratchet is in the 2013 wheels as well.

The answer depends on what wheels and hubs you have. There are various models of "the new Stumpy" that come with different wheels. If your hub indeed has DT internals, then you should be able to confirm this by pulling the freehub body off. It takes 60 seconds and you don't have to remove the cassette. You will see the ratchet in there. If it's there, then you can swap it out for a 36t. If the freehub won't come off, then either it is stuck or you have a different type of hub.
