I ordered yesterday a pair from EvansCycles out of impulse (300 GBP - couldn't say no to half price).
I can't find much info on them on the net so now I'm wondering if it really does worth replacing my 1 year old Mavic Crossmax SLRs 2010 with these? Are they comparable in stiffness?
I read up that the rear hub is basically a DT 240s? If so it looks like a good investment considering the price of it.
I don't think they come in any other size... Standard 9mm axles as well... Front hub may be convertible, but I don't remember if mine are.
You will like them... You running them as a cc wheelset I assume?
Ty, just how I guessed. Front wheel will come with some adapters, not sure which thou.
Yeah I'll use them for CC. Sadly marathons in Romania sometimes include some rough sections which you could easily call DH however my low skills makes be go really careful on them + I only weight 70kgs.
Great cc wheels... Come tubeless ready, and I am pretty light myself and ride a 23lb epic, they do try to skip in rock gardens. But they have handled a lot of rough stuff I have thrown their way.
