    Rockhopper found on Ebay

Found this Rockhopper on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SPECIALIZED-RO...item43a251e903

The title and discription say its a 2008 RH Pro, but cant seem to find any pics of that model/colour scheme when i google it and also it has an A1 frame i though the RH Pro didnt use that?

Can anyone confirm what it actually is?

    Thanks,
    Guys

    Googling for

    Specialized Rockhopper Judy

    revealed something:

... so, it looks as if it is a 2001 model. That is not a bad thing if it is in good condition and has been in light use.

But why does it say 2008 on eBay? Is that when the seller bought it? Looks like he has positive feedback.

Its EBAY, sellers can say its a 2020 model, ha ha.

Not bikes but with auto parts I have gotten super buys by looking at the pictures and not reading the descriptions. People don't always know what they have, maybe the ex wife is selling off the hubby items?

I'd go with 1998... I just went through the Specialized archive from 2002-2009 and didn't see a single Hardrock that looked like that.

I just reported the listing, I doubt anything will come of it.

    It's obviously a 2001 model year bike, not 2008.

I HATE when people are dishonest when selling their bikes.
