    Quick handlebar question

I have an 07 rockhopper comp. Specialized says my handlebars are XC rise. What does that equate to in an aftermarket bar like the Easton monkey lite. I need help! Thanks for the help

All that means that it's low rise and lightwieght enough for XC. I'm sure they are close to eastons spec wise, but chances are that eastons may be lighter (depending on which one you buy). Plus easton is in the business of bike components vs. specialized is in the business of bikes and purchase part from companies like easton.

As mentioned Easton has different specs per handlebar, but chances are that it is about a 1.5 inch rise. Easton has the same specs depending on which bar you choose. thier are to many specs choices with easton that you can't compare the two unless your very specific on which easton your talking about.

Kevin, did you actually look at the Specialized website before asking?

Specialized alloy butted 31.8mm XC rise w/ graphic, 640mm wide, 8 degree back, 8 degree up sweep

Unfortunately that quote doesn't actually read how much rise it has either. According to the site, it reads "XC oriented mid rise (1.0*)" which I bet should read 1.0" as the mid rise bar is listed as 1.5".
