Question from a Santa Cruz convert

Just bought a 2003 white Epic, used. Got it today and found there is some play where the shock attaches to the rear triangle...the shock 'wobbles' and the brain hits the seat-stay. This can't be normal and my first thought is that the shock needs new bushings...any other thoughts?

I'm a Santa Cruz man, cheating on my Superlight by getting another brand, and I could be getting punished for it.

    Forget it

Forget it...just found the answer on Specialized's website. Some side to side play is normal and harmless to the brain.
