Propedal lever on Fox Triad shock

I just installed a Fox Triad shock on my 2009 FSR XC. The propedal lever is meant to have 3 positions, locked, propedal and open. I can definitely feel it click into the open and propedal position but with the lever in the locked position it flops around quite a lot. The shock is lock, just the lever is not lock into any position. Is this normal?

    Yep, totally normal.

Mine is the same and I found it equally disconcerting to begin with.

Im sure I read that the lever can be taken off ant put back on in a slightly different position so that the lever is in the locked position at the bottom.
As others say it works as it is, but at least theres an option if you dont get on with it.
